Everyone has so many social commitments already that assume less than half of the people you invite to actually show up.

When you send out the invites, always put in a note as to where the couple has registered for gifts so that’s they don’t get three toasters and four waffle makers! Include a RSVP card or call and make sure that your guest count is accurate

If you choose the last option, always try to coordinate what each person is bringing so that you do not end up with four desserts and no salad.

Step 5: Whip up Games

Do you want to stick to the traditional games or do you want to get creative? Search the web and you will amazed to see the myriad of varieties in shower games. To get a really new game, put a bridal shower twist on a classic. If the bride to be is very creative, gather scrapbooking and paper crafting supplies and ask each guest to make a scrapbook page for her telling her how special she is. Put them all together and gift it to the bride at the shower.
